Epson TU-RC7508 Rewinder

The Epson TU-RC7508 Rewinder is an accessory for Epson label printers designed to collect printed labels onto a take-up roll. Intended for use with compatible Epson ColorWorks models such as C7500G, C7500 and C7500, this black rewinder supports continuous label handling to maintain printer throughput and reduce manual intervention. Its compact form factor fits common desktop and industrial label printing setups while helping preserve print quality by keeping labels aligned and tensioned during high-volume runs.

Advantages

The rewinder provides steady winding action to prevent wrinkles and jams, contributing to consistent label output. Its compatibility with multiple Epson ColorWorks models simplifies integration into existing workflows. The unit’s compact dimensions and straightforward mechanical design make it easy to install and position beside the printer, saving workspace and minimizing setup time. The black finish offers a neutral appearance that integrates with typical office and production environments.

Suitable for

• High-volume label printing where continuous take-up is required
• Applications that require neat, tension-controlled roll winding for downstream processes
• Environments using Epson ColorWorks C7500 series printers
• Offices, warehouses, shipping and manufacturing lines that prepare labels for automated application

Key specifications

• Type: Rewinder for label take-up
• Compatible printer series: Epson ColorWorks C7500 family
• Colour: Black
• Form factor: Compact, desk/bench mountable accessory
• Function: Smooth winding to reduce wrinkles and jams during roll collection

How to use

Install the rewinder according to the printer and accessory instructions, positioning it so the printed label web feeds directly onto the take-up core. Adjust the core and any tension settings to match the label roll width and material. Start a print job and observe the first few labels to ensure proper alignment and winding. During operation, monitor the wound roll and adjust tension or alignment as needed to maintain smooth collection. When the take-up roll is full, stop the printer, remove the completed roll, and mount a new core to resume printing.

Recommendations

Use label stock recommended for your Epson ColorWorks printer and ensure core diameters and roll widths are compatible with the rewinder. Periodically inspect for adhesive buildup or debris on the take-up core and clean according to Epson maintenance guidelines to prevent slipping or misalignment.
