Electric insecticide lamp NOVEEN IKN18 IPX4 — 18 W UVA tube, 100 m² coverage, 1700–1800 V, indoor/outdoor, hangable, metal, black

NOVEEN IKN18 is an electric insecticide lamp with a single 18 W UVA fluorescent tube designed for indoor and sheltered outdoor use. The unit is made of metal, finished in black, and can be hung or placed on a flat surface. It operates silently, provides splash-resistant protection (IPX4), and is intended to cover areas up to 100 m² without chemical insecticides. The lamp has a rated operating life of approximately 26,000 hours and uses a high-voltage output to eliminate insects.

Advantages

Silent operation and a single 18 W UVA tube ensure discreet and energy-efficient insect attraction. The metal construction and IPX4 splash resistance permit use in sheltered outdoor locations as well as indoors. A 2 m power cord and hangable design allow flexible mounting and placement. The device does not require insecticidal chemicals and offers long service life.

How to use

Install the NOVEEN IKN18 by hanging it from a secure point or placing it on a stable surface in the centre of the protected area, ideally 1.5–2.5 metres above the floor to attract flying insects. Connect the plug to a 230 V / 50 Hz outlet and switch on. For sheltered outdoor use, ensure the unit is protected from direct rain despite its IPX4 splash resistance. Replace the UVA tube according to the manufacturer’s recommendations or when light output diminishes; follow safety instructions before servicing and disconnect power.

Recommendations

Place the lamp away from competing light sources and food preparation surfaces for best results. For continuous protection, keep the lamp switched on during evening hours when insects are most active. Clean the device periodically and replace the bulb after its rated life to maintain performance.
