Effect fan Antari AF-4R — rotating air effect unit for fog and haze

Antari AF-4R is an effect fan engineered to shape and disperse fog and haze for stage, club, and event lighting. The unit produces rotating air patterns that interact with particles from fog and haze machines to enhance the visibility and definition of light beams. Designed for professional entertainment use, the AF-4R helps direct particle flow, add controlled motion to atmospheric effects, and improve the overall impact of lighting designs without altering the composition of the fog or haze.

Advantages

The AF-4R provides adjustable rotational airflow to create swirling or directional movement in the fog field, increasing the perceived depth and texture of light beams. Its compact housing and straightforward mounting options make integration with trusses and stage rigs simple. The device operates with low audible noise and delivers repeatable, consistent results during performances. Built for continuous use in entertainment environments, it supports synchronized operation with lighting and effects setups.

Suitable for

• Stage performances where defined light beams and atmosphere are required
• Club and DJ events to add motion and dynamics to fog or haze
• Theatrical productions that need controlled particle movement for visual effects
• Live concerts and festivals to emphasize lighting cues and create depth
• AV installations and demonstration spaces requiring enhanced beam visibility

Key specifications

• Effect type: rotating airflow generator for fog and haze distribution
• Airflow pattern: adjustable rotational dispersion to create swirling or directional flow
• Mounting: compatible with standard truss and rigging hardware for stage installation
• Acoustic level: designed for low operational noise appropriate for live shows
• Construction: durable enclosure suited for continuous use in entertainment venues
• Control: supports integration with show control systems for synchronized operation

How to use

Position the AF-4R between the fog or haze source and the audience or lighting fixtures so the rotating airflow interacts with the particle plume. Secure the unit using appropriate truss or rigging hardware and connect control and power interfaces according to venue requirements. Adjust the rotation and dispersion settings to achieve the desired beam shaping and motion effects; test during rehearsal to refine placement and settings relative to fog/haze output and lighting angles. Routine visual checks during operation help ensure consistent effect quality.

Recommendations

Use the AF-4R in combination with a compatible fog or haze machine to shape particle flow rather than to generate fog. Begin with moderate rotation settings and small positional adjustments to find the optimal balance between visible beam definition and audience comfort. Avoid obstructing the fan intake and maintain manufacturer-recommended service intervals to ensure reliable operation.
