How to use

Use the dry pastels directly on appropriate paper or pastel board. Apply with varying pressure to obtain lighter or more saturated tones, and blend with fingers, blending stumps or cloth to achieve smooth transitions. For fine details, sharpen the sticks with a pastel knife or sandpaper block. Fixative spray can be applied after completion to reduce smudging.

Recommendations

Store the pastels in their cardboard box in a dry place. When blending, test techniques on scrap paper to evaluate pressure and layering; use a fixative if you need to preserve finished works or reduce dust transfer.
