Drill Hole Saw Bosch 2 608 900 429 Diameter 6 cm Suitable for Plastic Wood

The Bosch 2 608 900 429 drill hole saw (diameter 6 cm) is designed for cutting clean holes in a range of materials including plastic, wood and soft ceramic wall tiles. Equipped with carbide teeth from the EXPERT Tough Material line, this hole saw resists wear when encountering metal inclusions such as nails or screws and maintains cutting performance over repeated use.

Advantages

The carbide-tipped teeth provide improved durability compared with standard bi-metal saws and reduce the risk of tooth damage when meeting metal. The 6 cm diameter delivers precise, consistent circular cuts suitable for installation tasks. The EXPERT Tough Material geometry helps the saw cut through mixed materials with reduced clogging and steady feed.

Suitable for

• Cutting holes in plastic panels and pipes
• Drilling openings in wood for fittings and cable routing
• Creating holes in soft ceramic wall tiles
• General installation work where occasional metal inclusions may be present

How to use

Mount the hole saw on a compatible arbor and secure it to your drill according to the arbor manufacturer's instructions. Mark the centre of the hole, start drilling at low speed to establish the pilot position, then increase speed and apply even pressure. Keep the drill aligned perpendicular to the work surface. Pause periodically to remove debris and avoid overheating; when cutting tile, use lower speed and steady pressure. After cutting, remove the core and deburr the hole if necessary.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves) and select drill speeds recommended for the work material. For prolonged life, avoid sustained contact with hardened metal and allow the tool to cool between long cuts.
