Double sleeping bag Outwell Campion Lux Double 195 cm, left zip, navy blue

The Outwell Campion Lux Double 195 cm is a double sleeping bag designed to accommodate two people in a single insulated cocoon. With a left-side zipper and a navy blue outer, this model combines shared warmth and ease of use for camping, car trips, festivals and family outings. The 195 cm length fits most adults and older children, and the construction allows the bag to be attached to mats and tent floors for stable overnight comfort.

Advantages

The double design keeps occupants close for efficient heat retention while reducing the need for two separate bags. The left-side zipper enables simple entry and exit and makes the bag compatible with other left-zip models if needed. The outer fabric in navy blue is practical for outdoor use, and the shape and padding deliver a balance between comfort and packability, suitable for a variety of casual outdoor activities.

Suitable for

• Couples camping who want a shared sleeping system
• Parents sleeping with a child for added warmth and convenience
• Festival stays or car-camping where a roomy, easy-to-use bag is preferred
• Short to moderate overnight trips where compact packing is not the primary constraint

When it may not be suitable

This double sleeping bag may not be ideal for solo users who prefer a smaller, lighter single bag or for long-distance backpacking where weight and packed volume are critical. It is designed for casual camping conditions rather than extreme cold or technical mountaineering; users needing very low-temperature ratings should consider a model specifically rated for those conditions.

Key specifications

• Type: Double sleeping bag
• Length: 195 cm
• Zipper side: Left
• Colour: Navy blue outer
• Intended use: Camping, car trips, festivals, family outings

How to use

Lay the sleeping bag flat inside a tent or on a sleeping mat and zip closed after both occupants are inside. If desired, pair with a compatible mat or insert to improve insulation from the ground. Close the hood or collar area when cooler conditions require reduced air circulation. For entry and exit, use the left-side zipper gently to avoid snagging the fabric. After use, air the bag until dry and store it loosely in a dry place or in the supplied storage bag if included.

What to consider before purchase

• Whether a double bag fits your sleeping setup and occupants comfortably
• Whether the 195 cm length is sufficient for the tallest user
• Suitability for intended climate and overnight temperatures
• Compatibility with existing sleeping mats or tent attachment points

Recommendations

For best comfort and insulation, use the Outwell Campion Lux Double with insulated sleeping mats and ensure both occupants dress appropriately for the expected night temperatures. Regularly air and dry the bag after trips to maintain insulation performance and hygiene.
