How to use

Mount the RD-5G30-LW on a suitable mast or tower using appropriate mounting hardware. Attach a compatible Rocket BaseStation directly to the integrated Rocket™ mount—no additional tools are required for that step. Point the antenna toward the remote site and, if available, use the Precision Alignment Kit to fine-tune the aim. Connect RF and power equipment according to the BaseStation and system installation guides, and verify link parameters after alignment.

Recommendations

Install the antenna at sufficient height and with a clear line of sight to the remote endpoint for best performance; enable the IsoBeam™ radome when co-locating multiple radios to reduce interference. Follow local mounting and grounding standards for outdoor equipment.
