The Poynting XPOL-2-5G (A-XPOL-0002-V3-02) is a directional cross-polarised 2×2 MIMO antenna with an 11 dBi peak gain, designed for focused cellular reception across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G networks. The third-generation V3 model retains the familiar external enclosure of the previous V2 unit while using redesigned internal metamaterial elements and a new radiator configuration to extend bandwidth and improve gain and radiation control. The antenna covers the key cellular ranges 698–960 MHz, 1700–2170 MHz, 2300–2700 MHz and the newer 3400–3800 MHz bands and is supplied with an N-type female connector in a white enclosure.

Advantages

How to use

Mount the antenna oriented toward the desired cell tower or signal source to take advantage of its directional gain. Connect the antenna to your modem, router or radio using an appropriate low-loss coaxial cable terminated to the N-type female connector. For MIMO operation, ensure both antenna signal paths are connected correctly to the corresponding modem/router ports. Secure the antenna on a mast or wall bracket at an elevated location free from large obstructions for best line-of-sight performance.

Recommendations

For optimal results, perform an initial signal survey and adjust azimuth and elevation to maximise received signal strength and throughput.
