The Digitus CAT 6A compact keystone module (DN-93615-S-8) is a shielded, tool-free RJ45 insert designed for quick installation in distribution panels and modular junction boxes. Its compact, flat housing with 360° shield contacting supports 10GBase-T networks up to 500 MHz and is supplied in a pack of 8 modules for series installation in 19" 1U panels or design-compatible enclosures.

How to use

Insert the module into a compatible 19" panel or design-compatible junction box. Strip the cable jacket to the recommended length, place conductors into the color-coded LSA slots according to EIA/TIA 568 A or B wiring, and terminate using the insulation displacement connectors without additional tools. Secure the cable using the integrated cable manager and cable ties for strain relief, then snap in the dust protection cap when the port is not in use.

Recommendations

For best performance, use solid AWG 22/1 installation cable (tested configuration) and ensure correct shielding continuity to maintain CAT 6A performance and PoE reliability. Avoid repeated excessive mechanical stress on the connector beyond the specified mating cycles and holding force.
