The DIGITUS CAT 6A compact keystone module (DN-93615-S-24) is a shielded, tool-free RJ45 module designed for reliable 10GBase-T network connections. Supplied in a pack of 24, the module supports Cat6A performance up to 500 MHz and is suitable for installation in 19" 1U distribution panels and design-compatible junction boxes. The housing is zinc die-cast with 360° shield contacting and the contact surfaces are nickel with 0.5 μ gold plating for long-term signal integrity.

How to use

Prepare the network cable by stripping the outer jacket and arranging the conductor pairs according to the chosen EIA/TIA 568 A or B color code. Insert the conductors into the LSA insulation displacement connectors and press into place using the appropriate LSA tool or compatible punch-down device if required; the module also supports tool-free assembly for field installation. Secure the cable with the integrated strain relief and cable ties, then mount the keystone module into a compatible 19" 1U panel or modular junction box. Connect network devices using a standard RJ45 patch cable.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use solid AWG 22/1 installation cable (tested configuration) and ensure full 360° shield continuity by correctly grounding the panel or chassis. Avoid excessive bending of cables at the termination point and follow EIA/TIA wiring standards for best signal performance.
