Digitus CAT 6A compact keystone module shielded tool-free mounting 12 pcs

The DIGITUS CAT 6A compact keystone module (DN-93615-S-12) is a shielded, tool-free RJ45 insert designed for fast field assembly and installation in distribution panels and modular junction boxes. Supplied in a pack of 12, each module supports Category 6A performance up to 500 MHz and 10GBase-T links while providing 360° shield contacting and dust protection for the RJ45 socket.

Advantages

The module offers tool-free cable termination via LSA insulation displacement connectors, color-coded for EIA/TIA 568 A & B, simplifying on-site installations. Its zinc die-cast, nickel-plated housing and phosphor bronze contacts with nickel and 0.5 μ gold plating ensure reliable electrical connection and mechanical durability. How to use

Prepare the installation cable according to the selected EIA/TIA wiring scheme (568A or 568B). Insert conductors into the color-coded LSA insulation displacement connectors and press in to terminate without tools. Mount the module into the panel or junction box; secure the cable with the integrated strain relief using cable ties. Use the dust protection cap on unused RJ45 sockets to protect contacts.

Recommendations

For best performance, use solid AWG 22/1 installation cable recommended for Cat6A and follow EIA/TIA wiring standards. Verify PoE power requirements against equipment specifications and avoid exceeding the module’s mechanical insertion and holding limits.
