How to use

Install the card into an available PCIe x4 (or x8/x16) slot on a powered-off computer and secure it to the chassis. Connect each LAN port to the network using appropriate CAT5e or better UTP cabling for 2.5G operation. After powering on the system, install the operating system drivers provided by the vendor or use the compatible Realtek drivers. Configure IP settings, link aggregation, VLANs or QoS as needed in the host OS or management software.

Recommendations

For reliable 2.5G performance use CAT5e or higher-quality cables and ensure the motherboard BIOS/OS supports PCIe devices; update drivers to the latest Realtek release. For legacy 10 Mbps connections, CAT3 UTP can be used but is not recommended for higher speeds.
