The DIGITUS DN-13024 is a compact 2‑port USB 2.0 wireless multi‑functional network server that converts standard USB devices into networked devices. It supports Ethernet LAN and Wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) connections and enables wireless access at up to 300 Mbps (2T2R). The device provides remote access to USB printers, multifunction printers, external storage and USB memory, and allows installation of printer drivers and synchronization of iTunes with iPhone/iPad over the network.

How to use

Connect the DN-13024 to your network via the LAN port or configure it for wireless access. Attach up to two USB devices directly to the server or connect a USB hub to expand the number of devices. Use a web browser to open the built‑in web interface and follow the setup wizard to register connected devices, configure network settings and assign sharing permissions. Once configured, network users can access printers, storage and other USB devices as network resources and install printer drivers remotely.

Recommendations

Place the device in a location with good WLAN coverage and connect to a stable power source. For optimal throughput when sharing large files or many simultaneous users, prefer the wired 10/100 Mbit/s connection where possible and use a high‑quality USB hub if expanding beyond two devices.
