DELTA OPTICAL HVL-031-150W 150W PTC Fan Heater for Enclosures, 230V AC, DIN Rail Mount, IP20

Unlike standard space heaters that waste energy heating entire rooms, the DELTA OPTICAL HVL-031-150W targets the exact spot where heat is needed—inside electrical enclosures, control cabinets, and sensitive equipment housings. Its self-regulating PTC ceramic element eliminates the need for external thermostats or complex controls, automatically adjusting output as ambient temperature changes. This prevents condensation, protects electronics from low-temperature failure, and ensures reliable operation even in unheated industrial environments.

Highlights

• 150 W heating power with self-regulating PTC resistor—no thermostat required
• Compact DIN rail mount (35 mm, EN 60715) for quick installation in standard enclosures
• Axial fan with ball bearings delivers 45 m³/h airflow (50 Hz) for even heat distribution
• Wide operating range from -45 °C to +70 °C, suitable for extreme climates
• Double insulated (Class II) and IP20 rated for safe use in dry indoor locations
• UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant plastic housing in black for durability
• Fan lifetime of 50,000 hours at 25 °C for maintenance-free long-term operation
• Approvals: VDE, UL, EAC, CE—meets international safety standards

In daily use

Mount the heater on a 35 mm DIN rail inside any enclosure, connect the two-pole terminal block to 230 V AC, and it begins working immediately. The PTC element draws high current when cold to reach operating temperature quickly, then reduces power as the enclosure warms, preventing overheating and saving energy. The integrated fan circulates warm air throughout the cabinet, eliminating cold spots that can cause condensation on sensitive components. With no moving parts in the heating element and a long-life ball-bearing fan, this heater is ideal for unattended installations in remote or hard-to-access locations.
