This DeLOCK mobile rack installs into a free PC slot and provides a single M.2 NVMe SSD bay compatible with 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 sizes. The low profile PCI Express card accepts one M.2 NVMe SSD and is designed for passive cooling and compact system integration.

How to use

Install the mobile rack into an available PCI Express slot in the computer following standard anti-static procedures. Insert a compatible M.2 NVMe SSD into the tray and ensure it is fully seated before closing the tray. Use the keyed lock to secure the tray if physical protection is required. When exchanging drives, unlock and remove the tray using the built-in mechanism, replace the SSD, then fully reinsert the tray to restore connection.

Recommendations

Ensure the tray is fully inserted before powering the system; incomplete insertion will prevent the SSD from connecting. Handle the M.2 SSD and tray with care to avoid ESD damage and ensure springs and locking mechanism are functioning correctly to reduce vibration and protect the drive.
