The DEHN 549001 isolation point box provides a weather-protected, sealable enclosure for separating lightning protection and earthing conductors at test joints. Its removable test link allows the earth electrode to be disconnected for measurement without dismantling the conductor run. In daily use

Installed at the base of a down conductor or at the transition to the earth electrode, this box keeps the test joint accessible and protected. During periodic inspection, the link is removed to isolate the earth electrode, the measurement is taken, and the link is reinstalled.
