How to use

Place the SG1006P on a stable desktop or mount it according to the installation location and connect the uplink port to your router or switch using a Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cable. Connect PoE-powered devices to the PoE ports; the switch will automatically provide power following the supported PoE standard or Hi-PoE on the orange port when required. Use the device interface to enable or disable Extend Mode and PoE Watchdog if supported by the management options, and verify LEDs for link/activity and PoE status. For long-distance PoE, enable the extend setting and accept reduced bandwidth to reach distances up to 250 meters.

Recommendations

Position the switch in a ventilated area away from direct heat sources. Use quality shielded or unshielded Ethernet cables appropriate for the desired distance and bandwidth.
