How to use

Connect the detector to a suitable 5V USB power source using the supplied 1.5 m USB-C cable (or USB-A via the included converter). Present banknotes or documents under the UV and white light area; the motion sensor will activate the LEDs automatically. Inspect both sides of the note for UV security threads, fluorescence and for watermarks or microprints under the white light. After use the unit will switch off automatically to conserve power.

Recommendations

For optimal results, place documents flat and hold them steady under the light. Use in a dimmer environment to better spot fluorescent features. When working with multiple currencies, check both sides of each note and combine UV inspection with white-light verification of watermarks and microprints.
