Tips

Before installation, clean the head tube and make sure the bearing seats are free of old grease or debris. Press each bearing in evenly to avoid damaging the races. Fit the crown race onto the fork, then assemble with the compression ring and spacers. Tighten the top cap to preload the headset, then align the stem and tighten the steerer clamp bolts to the torque specified by your fork manufacturer.
