Cordless lawnmower Bosch AdvancedRotak 36V-40-650 with 36 V power and 2×4.0 Ah batteries

The Bosch AdvancedRotak 36V-40-650 cordless lawnmower is a battery-powered mower supplied with two 36 V 4.0 Ah batteries, designed for cutting and maintaining small to medium-sized lawns without the need for a mains cable. The tool prioritizes portability and straightforward operation, enabling routine lawn care in residential gardens. Dual-battery configuration increases available runtime and allows uninterrupted work by switching or using both batteries in sequence.

Advantages

The cordless design eliminates cable restrictions and reduces the risk of accidental damage while mowing. Two included 36 V 4.0 Ah batteries extend working time compared with a single battery setup and provide predictable power delivery. The mower is engineered for user-friendly handling with ergonomic grips and a compact chassis that facilitates storage. It is suitable for regular grass cutting and basic lawn maintenance tasks where moderate power and battery endurance are required.

Suitable for

• Small to medium residential lawns and gardens
• Routine weekly or biweekly grass cutting
• Properties without convenient mains access in the mowing area
• Users who prioritize easy storage and cable-free operation

• Power system: cordless, battery-operated
• Battery voltage: 36 V
• Battery capacity: 2 × 4.0 Ah (included)
• Typical application: small to medium lawn maintenance

How to use

Charge both 36 V batteries fully before first use following the charger instructions provided with the batteries. Adjust the cutting height to the desired level, ensure the grass catcher or discharge setting is selected as required, and start the mower following the safety interlock procedure. Walk at a steady pace while mowing, overlap passes slightly for an even cut, and monitor battery indicators to plan battery changes or recharge intervals. After use, remove the batteries and store them in a cool, dry place if they will not be used for an extended period.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, mow when grass is dry and avoid excessively tall or wet vegetation that can shorten runtime. Maintain blades sharpness and follow regular cleaning to prevent clippings build-up. Observe all safety instructions in the user manual, wear appropriate protective footwear, and keep children and pets away from the mowing area.
