Cordless Hammer Kit DeWalt DCK856P4 18V with 4× Li‑ion 5.0Ah Batteries

DeWalt DCK856P4 18V cordless hammer kit includes a brushless hammer drill and four high‑capacity 5.0Ah Li‑ion batteries to support extended runtime for drilling and light chiselling in masonry and concrete. The kit is built for mobile professional use, combining cordless convenience with performance intended for construction, renovation and trade tasks that require repeated drilling and occasional chiselling without frequent battery changes.

Advantages

The brushless motor design increases efficiency and reduces maintenance while delivering consistent power for heavy-duty screwdriving and hammer drilling. Supplied with four 5.0Ah lithium‑ion batteries, the kit enables long uninterrupted work periods and quick battery swapping on site. The cordless configuration improves mobility on job sites and in confined spaces where corded tools are impractical.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in concrete, brick and masonry
• Light chiselling and demolition tasks
• Installation of anchors, fixings and utilities
• Professional renovation and general construction work

Key specifications

• Voltage: 18 V
• Battery type: Lithium‑ion
• Battery capacity: 5.0 Ah (four batteries included)
• Motor type: Brushless
• Primary functions: Hammer drilling and rotary drilling with light chiselling
• Suitable materials: Concrete, masonry, brick, wood, metal (drilling applications per bit type)
• Power source: Cordless (rechargeable batteries)

How to use

Fit a charged 5.0Ah battery into the tool until it clicks into place and select the required mode (hammer drilling, drilling, or chiselling if the tool has that selector). Choose the appropriate drill or chisel bit for the material and secure it in the chuck or SDS interface as specified by the tool. Start at low speed to position the bit, then increase speed and apply controlled pressure for efficient cutting or chiselling. Monitor battery charge and swap batteries as needed to maintain continuous operation. Follow standard safety practices including eye protection, hearing protection and secure workpiece mounting.

Recommendations

For prolonged jobs, rotate through the four 5.0Ah batteries to ensure continuous runtime while allowing depleted batteries to cool before recharging. Use appropriate masonry drill bits and a dust extraction method when drilling into concrete to extend tool life and improve hole quality.
