Cordless Grass Shear Gardena 09887-20 8 cm 3.6 V Lithium-Ion Black Green

The Cordless Grass Shear Gardena 09887-20 (ComfortCut Li) is a battery-powered tool for trimming lawn edges and shaping small shrubs such as boxwood. It features an 8 cm precision-ground blade with a non-stick coating made in Germany, an ergonomic slim design with an adjustable angled handle, and a rechargeable lithium‑ion battery that provides up to about 80 minutes of runtime. The tool is lightweight (approx. 600 g) and charges via the included USB‑C cable; an LED display indicates the charge level. The blade can be changed quickly without tools, and optional accessories (shrub blade 9863-20 and telescopic handle with wheels 9859-20) are available separately.

Advantages

The precision-ground, non-stick coated blade ensures a clean, precise cut and long-lasting sharpness. The slim ergonomic handle can be angled at the touch of a button for a comfortable working position, while the low weight reduces fatigue during extended use. The integrated lithium‑ion battery charges via USB‑C and shows charging status with an LED display, and the blades are interchangeable without tools for fast maintenance or conversion.

Recommendations

For extended edge trimming without bending, combine the grass shears with the separately available telescopic handle with wheels (Art. No. 9859-20). To convert the tool for shrub trimming, use the separately available shrub blade (Art. No. 9863-20). Regularly clean the blade and store the tool dry to maintain cutting performance.
