Cordless drill-driver Extralink EX.21397 set with 2 batteries and bits, yellow

The Extralink EX.21397 cordless drill-driver set includes a compact battery-powered drill-driver, two rechargeable batteries and a selection of bits. Designed for portability and everyday tasks, this kit supplies the power and versatility needed for drilling and screwdriving in homes, workshops and light construction sites. The tool is intended for general DIY, assembly and maintenance work where mobility and convenient battery operation are required.

Advantages

The cordless design removes the limitation of a fixed power outlet and enables work in confined or remote locations. Including two batteries extends operating time by allowing one battery to charge while the other is in use, reducing downtime. The compact form factor improves access in tight spaces and lowers user fatigue during prolonged use. A set of bits provides immediate readiness for a range of common fasteners without requiring separate purchases.

Suitable for

• Home improvement and DIY projects
• Furniture assembly and interior fittings
• Light repair and maintenance tasks
• Workshop use for small-scale construction
• On-site jobs where portability is essential

Key specifications

• Power source: rechargeable battery
• Includes: two batteries and a set of driving/drilling bits
• Tool type: cordless drill-driver (compact format)
• Primary applications: drilling and screwdriving for light to medium tasks
• Color: yellow

How to use

Charge both batteries fully before first use according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Select an appropriate bit for the fastener or drilling material and secure it in the chuck. Set the torque or speed setting matched to the task—lower torque for screwdriving delicate materials, higher for drilling. Maintain a firm two-handed grip or use a stable support surface, apply steady pressure, and allow the tool to reach operating speed before engaging the bit with the workpiece. Swap batteries as needed to maintain continuous operation and follow safe handling practices when changing bits or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

Use the two-battery arrangement to keep one battery charging while working with the other to minimise downtime. For best results, match bit type and size to the screw or drill material, pre-drill pilot holes for harder materials, and store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use. Follow safety guidelines such as wearing eye protection and disconnecting batteries during bit changes or maintenance.
