Cordless chainsaw WORX WG324E with 20V battery and charger, handheld electric pruning saw

The WORX WG324E is a cordless chainsaw supplied with a 20V battery and charger, designed as a handheld electric pruning saw for garden maintenance and light cutting tasks. Its compact form and battery power enable cordless operation and easy maneuvering around trees and shrubs. The tool is intended for pruning branches, trimming hedges, and small-scale felling where a lightweight, portable saw is preferable to larger petrol or mains-powered chainsaws.

Advantages

The WORX WG324E offers the convenience of a 20V battery that provides freedom of movement without a power cable, with a charger included to restore runtime between sessions. Its handheld design reduces fatigue during extended pruning and allows access to tighter spaces in the garden. The electric drive produces lower noise and no direct emissions compared with petrol engines, simplifying maintenance and storage.

Suitable for

• Pruning small to medium branches on trees and shrubs
• Trimming hedges and shaping garden plants
• Light felling of small trees and removal of woody waste
• Quick cut-and-clear tasks around allotments and home gardens

Key specifications

• Power source: cordless, 20V rechargeable battery
• Tool type: handheld electric pruning chainsaw
• Includes: battery and charger for immediate use
• Design: compact and lightweight for improved maneuverability
• Intended use: pruning, trimming and light cutting tasks in gardens

How to use

Charge the supplied 20V battery fully before first use following the charger manufacturer’s instructions. Fit the charged battery into the chainsaw until it locks in place and check that the chain tension and safety features are correctly set. Hold the saw with a firm two-handed grip, position the guide bar against the branch or wood to be cut, and operate the trigger smoothly to make controlled cuts. Allow the chain to reach full speed before engaging the wood, and avoid forcing the saw through oversized limbs to prevent strain on the battery and motor.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves, eye protection and hearing protection when operating the chainsaw. For best performance, perform routine checks of chain sharpness and tension, keep the battery charged between uses, and avoid prolonged cutting of large-diameter timber not suited to a handheld 20V pruning saw.
