Coravin Fast Pour Needle replacement needle for wine pouring system, model 801060

The Coravin Fast Pour Needle (model 801060) is a stainless-steel replacement needle designed for use with Coravin wine preservation and pouring systems. Engineered with a wider bore and ultra-thin walls, this Timeless Fast Pour Needle enables faster wine flow while preserving the integrity of natural and agglomerated corks. The needle includes a non-stick coating for smoother insertion and a textured Smart Grip for easy removal and replacement. One Fast Pour Needle and a Needle Clearing Tool are included to help maintain consistent pouring performance.

Advantages

The wider design pours approximately 20% faster than the Timeless Standard Needle while maintaining controlled, smooth flow through the cork. Stainless-steel construction with a non-stick coating improves durability and reduces friction on insertion and extraction. The textured Smart Grip simplifies needle replacement without tools, and the included Needle Clearing Tool helps remove cork particles if clogging occurs. The needle is compatible with Coravin systems (excluding Model Eleven) and is suitable as a service part to restore pouring performance.

Suitable for

• Home wine enthusiasts who use Coravin systems and require faster pours
• Restaurants, bars, and tasting rooms offering wine by the glass without opening bottles
• Wine professionals needing a spare or replacement needle for maintenance
• Users who pour from bottles with natural or agglomerated corks in good condition

How to use

To replace the needle, grasp the Smart Grip and unscrew it from your Coravin system to release the old needle. Use the Needle Clearing Tool if any cork particles obstruct the needle: insert the clearing tool into the needle to dislodge debris and ensure unobstructed flow. After installation, operate the Coravin system according to its user manual to pour wine through the needle.

Recommendations

Use the Fast Pour Needle on corks that are in good condition; avoid using the wider needle on severely damaged or crumbly corks to reduce the risk of clogging. Clean the needle regularly with the included clearing tool if you notice reduced flow. Store the needle dry and replace it when signs of wear or persistent clogging occur to maintain optimal pouring performance.
