Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

MODECOM MC-CF18 RGB cooling pad features two large 115 mm fans and is designed for gaming laptops up to 18 inches. The cooling stand combines a rigid metal surface with RGB lighting and an LCD control panel that lets you choose between quiet and high-performance fan modes. The pad includes foldable legs for adjustable inclination, a built-in dual USB hub and anti-slip rubber pads to secure the laptop in use.

Advantages

The MODECOM MC-CF18 offers effective cooling through two quiet 115 mm SILENT FANs and six selectable fan modes. RGB LED illumination provides up to 10 lighting modes to match gaming setups. A metal top plate increases structural stiffness for a stable laptop position, while four rubber feet and additional upper anti-slip pads prevent sliding. An LCD control panel allows direct adjustment of fan speed and RGB mode, and a dual USB hub adds convenient connectivity.

Key specifications

How to use

Place the laptop on the metal surface so that it rests securely on the upper anti-slip pads. Connect the pad to the laptop via the USB cable to power the fans and USB hub. Use the LCD control panel to select one of six fan speeds or switch the fans off; use the dedicated button to change the RGB lighting mode. Adjust the inclination using the two folding legs to obtain a comfortable viewing and typing angle.

Recommendations

For optimal cooling, keep air intakes on the laptop unobstructed and select a higher fan mode during intensive gaming sessions. Ensure the pad is placed on a flat, stable surface and periodically clean the fan inlets from dust to maintain performance.
