How to use

Choose the appropriate drill setting on your rotary hammer or drill. Insert the SDS-Quick shank into the tool until it locks (or secure the bit in a three-jaw chuck if applicable). Position the bit on the marked spot, apply steady pressure and start drilling with the hammer function when working in concrete or masonry. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear debris and avoid overheating. After drilling, remove the bit by releasing the SDS-Quick coupling or opening the chuck.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection) when drilling. For best results in very hard concrete, start with a pilot hole and use steady moderate pressure. Do not force the bit; allow the hammer action and the carbide tip to do the work.
