The Cecotec Gelacy 1200 compressor ice cream maker combines a compact 1.2 L bowl with a 110 W compressor to produce homemade ice cream, sorbet and frozen desserts without the need for pre-freezing bowls. The black single-bowl design offers straightforward setup and cleaning while the integrated compressor delivers consistent low temperatures for a smooth, creamy texture. Controls are simple, enabling you to prepare a range of recipes from classic vanilla to fruit-based sorbets and dairy-free alternatives.

Advantages

The compressor unit provides continuous cooling so you can churn multiple batches back to back and adjust processing time for desired consistency. The 1.2 L capacity is suitable for small families or personal use and the single-bowl construction reduces parts to assemble and wash. With 110 W of power the appliance balances energy use and performance for domestic kitchens, and the black finish fits modern interiors.

How to use

Place the machine on a stable, level surface and ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Prepare your ice cream base according to the recipe and chill it if required. Pour the prepared mixture into the removable bowl, secure the lid, select the desired processing time and start the compressor. Monitor the texture and stop the machine when the mixture reaches the preferred consistency. After use, switch off and unplug the unit, remove the bowl and wash components according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Recommendations

For best results, follow recipe temperatures and ingredient ratios—well-chilled bases shorten processing time and improve texture. Avoid overfilling the 1.2 L bowl to allow proper aeration. Clean the removable bowl and lid promptly after each use to prevent residue buildup and ensure hygienic operation.
