The CHERRY KW 550 MX LP is one of our first office keyboards to feature the enhanced CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 switches. These switches create a modern look with an extra-low profile but still offer you all the benefits of a mechanical keyboard. The compact 96% format means you can enjoy more space on your desk without having to sacrifice the numeric keypad. The wireless mechanical keyboard also features multi-device functionality for up to four devices, abrasion-resistant PBT keycaps and white key lighting with additional color LEDs for the status keys and special keys. You can also keep working while the keyboard is charging — simply type away as usual.

Mechanical, slim and compact: The CHERRY KW 550 MX LP not only looks good with its low profile and unusual color design, it also impresses with its innovative technology and its durability. The brand new CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 switches are manufactured in Germany and promise a short key stroke with a fast response, while the 96% format creates more space on your desk. With its multi-device functionality, this wireless mechanical keyboard can be connected to up to four devices at once and can be switched back and forth as required. The whole package is rounded off by the dimmable white key lighting and the additional color LEDs for the status keys and special keys

Modern, low-profile design
Both the stylish color design of the CHERRY KW 550 MX LP and the extremely low height of just 25 mm are instantly eye-catching. The metal plate inside the mechanical, wireless keyboard guarantees maximum stability and also ensures that the keyboard cannot be bent. The folding feet are also highly practical, making it easy to adjust the tilt angle of the keyboard. The compact 96% layout, or 1800 layout, gives you more space on your desk and allows your shoulders to take on a more natural posture. And despite its compact design, the wireless mechanical keyboard still has a numeric keypad.

CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 switches
The switches installed in the CHERRY KW 550 MX LP are characterized by beautifully smooth operation, complete switching reliability and a service life of more than 100 million keystrokes. The feel and sound have also been revised and improved. Full n-key rollover ensures that all keys are read simultaneously. So no matter how many keys you press simultaneously, no input is lost. And with anti-ghosting, you don't have to worry about input errors.

Abrasion-resistant PBT keycaps
The CHERRY KW 550 MX LP uses our proprietary PBT keycaps, which are manufactured using a complex double-shot, i.e. two-component, injection molding process. This means that the symbols on the keyboard are not printed or lasered, but rather injected directly from plastic — making them permanently abrasion-resistant. In addition, this material improves the typing experience, so the wireless mechanical keyboard delivers a highly satisfying muffled sound when typing.

Multi-device functionality for up to four end devices
With the CHERRY KW 550 MX LP it is possible to connect up to four devices simultaneously. The mechanical keyboard can be connected either wirelessly via one of the three Bluetooth® channels or conventionally using a cable. This allows you to control computers, notebooks, tablets or smartphones, and conveniently switch back and forth at the touch of a button. The F1 to F4 keys make it easy to see which channel is currently selected.

Dimmable lighting & handy status LEDs
All the keys on the CHERRY KW 550 MX LP have built-in LEDs. The white key lighting features ten dimming levels, and can be turned off completely if preferred. In addition, the mechanical, wireless keyboard can have additional color LEDs for the CAPS LOCK, NUM LOCK and WIN keys and for the F1 to F4 keys. With this feature, each key tells you whether its associated function is activated. There is even an RGB LED under the CHERRY key that shows you the battery status during charging.

Keep working while you charge
Our CHERRY KW 550 MX LP keyboard is mechanical, wireless and also rechargeable. The removable USB-A to USB-C cable can be used both for data transfer and for charging the lithium battery. You can work for several weeks with a full charge, depending on the lighting options selected and your working patterns. The wireless, mechanical keyboard will even keep going for a year or more if you are not using the lighting features.
