Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

The original – in a new look: The CHERRY G80-3000N RGB TKL is a modern version of the classic which appeared in the 1980’s that’s still in production today. The new G80-3000N RGB builds on its legend. The classic keycaps still have the same shape and the same feel, so why change what is already perfect? What is completely new is the slimmer and much smaller case, RGB lighting and state-of-the-art electronics.

The CHERRY MX Gold Crosspoint precision switches (made in Germany) have a service life of at least 50 million presses per key. High quality manufacturing ensures absolute precision and an inimitable typing feel. But that's not all: Mechanical keyboards have even more advantages. Anti-ghosting and N-key rollover. Impressive RGB lighting in over 16 million colours offers countless lighting options: From animated multi-color effects, to subtle single-color lighting or customizable single-key illumination – you can give your creativity a completely free rein. A mechanical keyboard not only for gamers, but also an excellent choice for anybody who spends time at their keyboard: programmers, office workers or in the industrial sector. The laser-etched keys are completely abrasion resistant. Durable and reliable with precise input thanks to the MX switches that have been proven over a million times – a keyboard suitable for gaming or professional users alike.

10/10

“The black plastic body of this new G80-3000 may not be the most stylish you’ll even encounter but it’s solid enough and provides a solid base for the keys. It is rather resonant, though, something I only noticed when I moved it off my full-desk mouse…”

Pros
  • Good value
  • Quiet typing action
  • Great typing action
Cons
  • No wireless options
  • Base resonant on some surfaces
  • The plastic body feels a bit cheap
