Cellular network modem MikroTik LHG LTE6 kit 4G PoE outdoor, 1x Gigabit Ethernet, 700/850 MHz bands, 0.8 GHz CPU, 256 MB RAM

The Mikrotik LHGG LTE6 kit is a cellular network modem designed as a last-mile internet solution for locations with poor mobile reception. It combines a high-gain 17 dBi antenna with a Cat6 LTE modem and a Gigabit Ethernet interface to provide reliable 3G/4G connectivity over multiple LTE bands. The weatherproof, compact housing is built for outdoor mounting on a pole, mast or roof and is suitable for a range of climates.

Advantages

The kit offers a high-gain antenna and a Cat6 modem capable of using multiple LTE bands simultaneously, improving signal capture and throughput. Upgraded Gigabit Ethernet allows full utilization of the modem speed, while the rugged weatherproof design reduces maintenance and provides long-term outdoor reliability. Broad band support increases the chance of receiving a usable signal in many regions.

Suitable for

• Remote homes and cottages with weak mobile coverage
• Rural offices and small business internet backup
• Temporary sites, construction or event connectivity
• Locations where wired internet is unavailable or unreliable

Connect the modem to a power source using PoE (IEEE 802.3at/af) and run an Ethernet cable from the Gigabit RJ-45 port to your router or local network device. Configure the LTE settings via the MikroTik management interface, selecting appropriate bands and operator APN parameters. Verify signal strength and adjust antenna orientation if necessary to optimize reception.

Recommendations

For best performance, place the unit as high as practical with minimal obstructions, ensure correct APN and band configuration for your mobile operator, and use shielded outdoor-rated Ethernet cabling for long runs. Regularly check firmware updates from MikroTik to maintain compatibility and security.
