CAT Rechargeable Folding Worklight CT31105 | 350 lm COB LED, Magnetic Base, IP44

When you're under a vehicle, in a crawl space, or working on a project after sunset, you need light that stays put and adapts to the job. The CAT CT31105 rechargeable folding worklight delivers 350 lumens of bright COB LED illumination with a fold-out design that stands, hangs, or sticks to metal surfaces. Its magnetic base and swivel hook free your hands for the task at hand, while the top SMD LED provides a focused 80-lumen beam for close-up work. Powered by a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery, it runs up to 6 hours on low and recharges via Micro USB in about 3-4 hours. With an IP44 rating, it shrugs off splashes and dust, making it a reliable companion in the garage, workshop, campsite, or during power outages.

Why choose it

This worklight is built for real-world use. The folding design lets you angle the light exactly where you need it, and the magnetic base grips any steel surface—think car hoods, tool chests, or structural beams. The swivel hook hangs from pipes, nails, or tent poles, giving you overhead light without a helper. The dual LED system means you get broad area lighting and a focused beam in one tool. And because it's rechargeable, you skip the hassle and cost of disposable batteries.

Ideal use cases

• Automotive repair and maintenance: stick it to the frame or hang it under the hood
• DIY and home improvement: illuminate dark corners, under sinks, or attics
• Camping and outdoor activities: hang in the tent or use as a lantern
• Emergency preparedness: keep in the car or home for power outages
• Professional trades: electricians, plumbers, and inspectors working in tight spaces

Good to know

The CT31105 comes with a Micro USB charging cable, so you can top up from a wall adapter, power bank, or laptop. The battery indicator lets you know when it's time to recharge. With a cool 6500 K colour temperature, the light is crisp and clear, reducing eye strain during detailed tasks. At only 350 lumens, it's not a floodlight, but the focused COB panel and adjustable angle make it surprisingly effective for close-range work. Backed by CAT's reputation for tough tools, this worklight is a practical addition to any toolbox.
