The Staub cast iron round pot in White Truffle finish, 6.7 L capacity, is a heavy-duty cookware piece designed for steady, even heat distribution and long heat retention. Constructed from enameled cast iron, this round pot suits a wide range of cooking methods including braising, stewing, roasting and slow cooking. The interior enamel surface is durable and helps simplify cleaning while protecting the cast iron core. Compatible with most stovetops and oven-safe, the pot provides consistent results for family meals and small gatherings.

Advantages

This cast iron round pot offers excellent heat retention and uniform heat distribution that minimizes hot spots during prolonged cooking. The enamel coating reduces reactive contact with food, prevents rusting and makes surface care easier compared with raw cast iron. Its substantial weight and tight-fitting lid help retain moisture for tender, flavorful dishes. The neutral White Truffle finish provides an attractive, easy-to-coordinate appearance in a variety of kitchen styles.

Suitable for

• Roasting small joints or poultry in the oven
• Serving directly from pot at the table

How to use

Preheat the pot gradually on low to medium heat to allow the cast iron to warm evenly. Use suitable amounts of oil or liquid when searing or braising to protect the enamel surface. For oven use, transfer the preheated pot to the oven as required by the recipe, taking care with hot handles—use oven mitts or pot holders. After cooking, let the pot cool before washing; clean with warm water and a soft sponge or brush. Do not use aggressive metal scouring pads that can damage the enamel.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid rapid temperature changes (for example placing a hot pot into cold water). Use wooden, silicone or nylon utensils to prevent scratching the enamel. Regularly inspect the enamel surface for chips and avoid cooking highly acidic foods for extended periods if you notice damage to the coating.
