Card game MATTEL Games UNO All Wild — family card game, recommended age 7+

UNO All Wild by MATTEL is a fast-paced family card game for players aged 7 and up that reimagines classic UNO by making every card a Wild card. Instead of matching numbers or colours, players play Wild cards that trigger immediate effects, creating unpredictable rounds and heightened interaction. This edition keeps core UNO mechanics—drawing, playing and managing special actions—while centering gameplay on Wild card strategies and tactical hand management. The set contains action cards that modify turn order, force hand swaps, and apply penalties, delivering short, energetic sessions suitable for family gatherings and casual play.

Advantages

UNO All Wild reduces traditional matching rules to focus on special Wild actions, producing faster rounds and more surprising outcomes. The simplified matching concept shortens setup and playtime, making it accessible for younger players while still offering strategic depth for older participants. Compact card format and clear iconography support easy learning and quick gameplay transitions, and the variety of Wild action cards keeps replay value high without complex rules.

Suitable for

• Family game nights with children aged 7 and older
• Parties and social gatherings where quick, lively rounds are preferred
• Casual gaming sessions and travel due to compact size
• Groups looking for a simpler, action-focused card game variant

Key specifications

• Player age recommendation: 7 years and up
• Gameplay style: Wild-card focused, action-driven card play
• Typical session length: short rounds suitable for multiple games in one sitting
• Components: deck of cards with multiple special Wild action cards
• Participant count: designed for small to medium groups (family and friends)

How to use

Shuffle the deck and deal the prescribed number of cards to each player following the included rules. On their turn, a player plays any Wild card from their hand and follows the printed effect, which may change turn order, force other players to draw, or swap hands. If a player cannot or chooses not to play a Wild card they draw according to the rule set. Continue play until a player empties their hand and calls the appropriate end-of-round signal per the game rules. Review the rule sheet before the first play to confirm variant-specific actions such as Wild Skip Two or Wild Forced Swap.

Recommendations

For balanced sessions, limit the number of consecutive rounds for younger children and rotate starting players to avoid predictable advantages. Use the included rule variations to adjust game length and complexity: remove or reduce certain action cards to simplify play for beginners, or include all Wild actions for maximum unpredictability. Store cards in a protective box to keep iconography clear and maintain easy shuffling.
