How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized hole in the enclosure or panel wall to accept the cable gland body. Insert the gland through the hole and tighten the locking nut or threaded section until the gland seats firmly against the enclosure wall. Pass the cable through the gland and compress the sealing insert by tightening the outer cap or nut according to the manufacturer’s torque recommendations to form a water-tight seal around the cable. Ensure the cable diameter falls within the specified 6–12 mm range to maintain IP68 performance and strain relief.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the enclosure material and mounting hole size before installation. For long-term outdoor installations, periodically inspect the gland and cable entry for physical damage, UV degradation or chemical exposure.
