The compact InLine® USB-C cable coupling with IP68 protection has been specially developed for applications where a reliable USB-C connection is required in confined spaces – for example, in distribution boxes, industrial enclosures or outdoor installations.
With a total length of only 74 mm, this connector can be easily integrated even in compact enclosures. The shielded USB-C socket (on both sides) supports data transfers of up to 5 Gb/s and also offers a charging function with 2 A at 5 V.
Installation is quick and tool-free thanks to the integrated screw system. The combination of a green sealing ring and rubber gasket ensures a robust, IP68-compliant seal – reliably protected against moisture, dust, dirt, and mechanical stress.

How to use

Mount the connector into a compatible M20 cutout or gland location and insert cables of the recommended diameters. Secure the halves using the integrated screw system until the rubber gasket and silicone seal compress to form the IP68 seal. Connect USB-C cables or devices to each side to establish data and charging connections. No special tools are required for installation; ensure correct cable orientation and firm tightening to maintain the protective seal.

Recommendations

For best performance, use shielded USB-C cables and avoid exceeding the specified current and voltage. Regularly inspect seals and connections in harsh environments and replace the gasket if damaged to retain IP68 protection.
