Smart Illumination
The camera is designed with IR illumination for best lowlight performance. Smart IR is a technology to ensure brightness uniformity in B/W image under low illumination. How to use

Install the Dahua DH-HAC-HFW1231R-Z-A on a stable surface (ceiling, wall or pole) using appropriate mounting hardware. Connect the camera to a compatible HDCVI recorder or DVR using coaxial cable; if your model supports audio, connect the audio input where required. Adjust the varifocal lens (2.8–12 mm) to set the desired field of view and focus. Configure WDR, Super Adapt and 3D NR settings on the recorder or camera OSD to optimize image quality for your environment. Ensure the camera housing is sealed correctly to maintain IP67 protection.

Recommendations

For best low-light results, position the camera so that primary subjects are within the effective IR range and avoid placing strong light sources directly in front of the lens.
