Brita Maxtra+ Pure Performance Water Filter Cartridges - 3 pcs

The Brita Maxtra+ Pure Performance 3x is a manual water filter pack containing three cartridge units designed to reduce chlorine taste and odour, limescale and common impurities in tap water. The white filter housings fit into compatible BRITA jugs and dispensers and provide up to four weeks of effective filtration per cartridge, delivering improved-tasting water for drinking, cooking and hot drinks without changing plumbing.

Advantages

The cartridges use a multi-stage filtration system that combines activated carbon and ion-exchange materials to lower chlorine and certain dissolved substances that affect taste and appliance scaling. The compact white design is compatible with BRITA filter jugs that accept Maxtra+ cartridges and is easy to insert and remove. Each cartridge offers up to four weeks of use under typical household conditions, helping to maintain consistent water quality and extend the life of kettles and coffee machines by reducing limescale build-up.

Suitable for

• Households seeking improved drinking water taste and reduced chlorine smell
• People who want to reduce limescale in kettles and small appliances
• Use with compatible BRITA filter jugs and dispensers for everyday water and beverage preparation
• Families and individuals who prefer a manual filtration solution without plumbing modifications

How to use

Rinse the new cartridge briefly with cold water and insert it into the reservoir of a compatible BRITA jug or dispenser according to the jug manufacturer’s instructions. Fill the reservoir with tap water and allow water to pass through the cartridge into the storage section. For best results, replace the cartridge approximately every four weeks or sooner if you notice changes in water taste or flow rate. Dispose of used cartridges according to local waste regulations and use replacement BRITA Maxtra+ cartridges to maintain filtration performance.

Recommendations

To optimise performance, follow the jug manufacturer’s instructions for seating and priming the cartridge and track cartridge life based on household consumption. Do not use the cartridges with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection. Regular cartridge replacement and cleaning of the jug will help maintain water taste and reduce limescale in kettles and coffee machines.
