The MAN TGA breakdown truck model reproduces a common recovery vehicle used to load and tow damaged cars. It features a removable loading platform and an extendable, swivelling crane for vehicle recovery. An extendible wheel lift and load handling gear with tracks and wheel clamps allow secure towing. Wheel chocks and fold-out support legs provide stability, and profiled tyres complete the exterior detail. The tipping driver's cab reveals the engine compartment, and the cab mirrors fold in. A separate cross-country vehicle model has an opening engine bonnet, a folding windscreen and steerable front wheels, expanding play possibilities. The set can be fitted with the Light and Sound Module (art. no. 02801), sold separately.

How to use

Position the breakdown truck at the recovery site, unfold the support legs and secure the vehicle with wheel chocks. Remove the loading platform or extend the crane and wheel lift as required to place the disabled vehicle on the bed or lift it for towing. Fold the cab mirrors and tip the driver's cab to inspect the engine if needed. For additional play effects, fit the separately sold Light and Sound Module according to its instructions.
