Bosch GWX 18V-15 P PROFESSIONAL angle grinder 12.5 cm 11000 RPM 1500 W 2.3 kg

The Bosch GWX 18V-15 P PROFESSIONAL angle grinder is a cordless grinding and cutting tool designed for professional and trade use. It features a brushless motor that improves efficiency and reduces maintenance compared with brushed motors. The tool accepts a 125 mm (12.5 cm) grinding disc and delivers a maximum no-load speed of 11,000 RPM. With an 18 V battery platform and an input power equivalent of 1500 W, the grinder combines cordless convenience with high performance in a compact 2.3 kg package.

Advantages

The brushless motor provides higher efficiency, longer runtime and reduced heat generation during prolonged use. The compact and lightweight construction at approximately 2.3 kg improves handling and reduces operator fatigue. A high maximum idle speed enables fast material removal and smooth cutting performance. Battery operation removes the need for power cords, increasing mobility on job sites and in locations without immediate access to mains power. The design and balance facilitate one- and two-handed operation for a variety of tasks.

Suitable for

• Metal grinding, deburring and weld seam preparation
• Cutting metal pipes and profile sections
• Surface grinding and removal of rust or paint from steel
• Working at construction sites, workshops and renovation projects

How to use

Fit an appropriate 125 mm grinding or cutting disc according to the manufacturer's safety guidelines and secure it with the supplied flange and nut. Insert a compatible 18 V battery and ensure it is correctly locked in place before operation. Hold the tool with both hands when performing heavier cuts or prolonged grinding; use the side handle if provided for improved control. Start the grinder and allow it to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece, then apply steady, controlled pressure. After use, switch off the tool and wait until the disc comes to a full stop before setting it down. Remove the battery for storage or maintenance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and gloves. Select discs rated for the tool's maximum speed and material type. Avoid excessive side pressure on cutting discs and follow the disc manufacturer's mounting and safety instructions. Maintain battery charge levels and use manufacturer-recommended chargers to preserve battery life.
