The Bosch Wire Wheel Brush 1 608 614 011 has a 100 mm diameter and is designed for light to medium duty cleaning and surface preparation on medium to large metal surfaces. The brush removes coatings, rust and paint residues, cleans formwork boards and facings, and is suitable for roughing, matt sanding and paint stripping. It fits angle grinders with an M14 thread and is compatible with the GGS 6 S Professional.

How to use

Mount the wire wheel brush on an angle grinder with an M14 spindle according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions and ensure the grinder's guard is in place. Operate the grinder at speeds not exceeding 8,500 rpm. Apply light to moderate pressure and move the brush steadily across the work surface to remove rust, paint or coatings. Keep the brush perpendicular to the surface where possible and avoid excessive pressure that could damage the brush or the workpiece.

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, and a dust mask). Check the brush for wear or damage before each use and replace it when wires become excessively worn or loose.
