The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-7M-NA-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 7m QSFP28 is a factory-new Active Optical Cable (AOC) with QSFP28 to QSFP28 connectors and a 7 metre length. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and is designed for high-speed short-reach connections within racks or between adjacent racks. The cable supports 100GBASE-SR4 Ethernet applications and features a flame-retardant LSZH sheath for reduced smoke and no halogen release in case of fire. Built-in I/O and O/E conversion in the QSFP28 modules converts electrical signals to optical and back, enabling hot-pluggable, low-weight, and flexible links compared with direct attach twinax solutions.
