The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-7M-LE-BO is a 7m QSFP28 to QSFP28 active optical cable (AOC) engineered for short-range, high-speed data links in rack and adjacent-rack environments. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and integrates electrical-to-optical and optical-to-electrical conversion within the QSFP28 connectors to deliver 100GBASE-SR4 compatible performance. The cable combines a small bend radius and reduced weight compared with direct attach twinax solutions, and its LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket reduces smoke and halogen emission in case of fire.
