The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-7M-IX-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 7m QSFP28 is a factory-new active optical cable (AOC) designed for high-speed short-range connections between QSFP28 ports. Built with OM3 multimode fibre (50 µm core) and QSFP28-to-QSFP28 pluggable transceivers, this 7-metre cable supports 100GBASE-SR4 Ethernet and InfiniBand interconnects inside racks or between adjacent racks. The cable features a flame-resistant LSZH outer jacket for reduced smoke and no halogen release in the event of fire, while integrated electrical-to-optical and optical-to-electrical conversion enables lightweight, flexible, hot-pluggable connectivity compared with passive twinax solutions.
