The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-7M-F5-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 7-meter active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed short-range connections in data centers and high-performance computing environments. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and supports 100GBASE-SR4 Ethernet and InfiniBand applications. The cable features LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) sheathing and an integrated I/O O/E converter in each QSFP28 plug to convert electrical signals to optical and back, enabling hot-pluggable, low-weight, and flexible connections between hardware within or between adjacent racks.
