The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-25M-PA-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 25m OM3 is an active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP28 connectors on both ends designed for 100G high-speed short-reach links. With a 25 metre length and OM3 multimode fibre (50 µm core), this AOC converts electrical signals to optical and back inside its QSFP28 modules to enable reliable 100GBASE-SR4 and InfiniBand connectivity between devices in the same rack or adjacent racks. The cable uses a halogen-free LSZH sheath for reduced smoke and toxicity in case of fire and offers increased flexibility and lower weight compared with direct-attach twinax solutions.
