The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-25M-MR-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 25m OM3 is a QSFP28-to-QSFP28 active optical cable (AOC) designed for 100G high-speed links over short distances. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and a 25 metre length, combining transceiver modules and optical fibre in a single hot-pluggable assembly. The cable is intended for rack-to-rack or in-rack connections in data centres and high-performance computing environments and features LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) flame-resistant sheathing for reduced smoke and no halogen emissions in case of fire.

Advantages

This active optical cable converts electrical signals to optical signals and back via integrated I/O and O/E converters in the QSFP28 connectors, enabling 100GBASE-SR4 and InfiniBand-compatible transmissions.
