This QSFP28 to QSFP28 25 metre cable uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and integrates hot-pluggable transceiver modules that convert electrical signals to optical and back, enabling 100G data transmission with stable throughput and reduced weight compared with copper twinax solutions.
