The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-25M-EE-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 25m OM3 is an active optical cable (AOC) assembled with QSFP28 connectors on both ends for 100G high-speed short-range connections. Built with OM3 multimode fibre (50 µm core) and a 25 metre length, this AOC converts electrical signals to optical and back via integrated I/O O/E converters in the QSFP28 housings. The cable is intended for interconnections inside racks or between adjacent racks in data centres and high-performance computing environments, offering lower weight, greater flexibility and a smaller bend radius compared with passive twinax solutions.
