The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-25M-BC-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 25m OM3 is an active optical cable (AOC) designed for 100G high-speed transmissions over short distances. It uses QSFP28 to QSFP28 connectors with built-in electrical/optical conversion and OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter. The 25 meter length and LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheath make it suitable for intra-rack and inter-rack connections in data centres and high-performance computing environments where high bandwidth and reduced weight are required.
